“Keri was a role model for me. I remember being little and going to the O’Donnell’s house so my brother, Nick, and Keri could take pictures before their winter ball. I knew I wanted to look as pretty as her one day.

A few days later, I remember Keri coming over to my house and stealing her from my brother. She played with me in my room until I let her go back to Nick, despite him being jealous that she was giving me all of her attention.

Keri was one of the most beautiful, sweet, joyful people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Being a part of Keri’s Krew allowed me to enjoy the sport of dance, which ultimately led me to discover my passion for the sport of cheerleading, and that is something I am forever grateful for.

The Keri Anne O’Donnell fund has also assisted me in attending college, which is a greater help than I can put into words.

Keri’s legacy is one that has helped many, and her spirit continues to thrive through all its recipients. It is an honor to be a part of Keri’s Krew, but it was an even bigger one to get to know her personally. I will always be thankful for and to the entire O’Donnell family and the blessings they have given me, as well as many others.” -Alyssa P.

“I have been a part of Keri’s Krew since 2015 and have had the incredible honor of receiving Keri’s Scholarship a number of times through my theatre career. Being a part of this organization is something I hold so close to my heart at any given moment. It reminds me how important performance is for so many people, both on and off the stage. The ability to perform grants people confidence, passion, and a voice. It also speaks to everyone differently. Every time I get on that stage I am performing for anyone who needs it at that moment, but I am ALWAYS performing for Keri. She also had a passion for performance that would touch the souls of those in the audience and those who performed alongside her. Although she is not physically performing, her spirit always makes her way to the stage for the moment that the curtain goes up.

The Keri O’Donnell Foundation gives people the chance to shine. The chance to sparkle.”

“The Keri Anne O’Donnell memorial fund has helped me in more ways than I can explain. This foundation has supported me in times when I needed it most. Most recently, in the global pandemic, I was able to produce a one woman show, and raise enough money to live-stream it and help a theater from closing. As I continue my theater endeavors in NYC, I keep Keri and this organization with me, as I know she is responsible for nurturing and supporting so many artists and creative projects.

When I think of Keri, I am inspired to keep going. I remember to spread my wings and find the glitter everywhere.

Thank you to the Keri Anne O’Donnell fund.” -Alex F.
